Another of my earliest work. I used a large quantity of screen tone to decorate the background of this most memorale pop diva of early rock'n roll era. I still listen to her songs everyday. Her voice was unearthly.
Thank you for your very nice comment.I also listen to Connie's songs everyday.''I have but one heart[vicino mare]'' is my favorite Connie song.In parenthesis is the italian spelling.A beautiful, romantic song.I'm glad that you like my journals.I have edited and added on to a few of them,so the next time you visit i'm sure you'll find something new.I think Connie is so cute, funny and feminine. She seems just right in a pratfall, stoogette type movie.I will write more tributes to Connie.Do you think i should take it easy on Connie's bottom or just let her have it more? Sometimes i cant help it.thanks again and i look forward to hearing from you.
Oh yes, talk about the parody I actually have pretty much the similar idea and concept like yours, in case you didn't notice the 4 female manga characters right on my main webpage ID are actually a re-modification of some of the greatest 60's pop divas. All of them are featured in my realistic portrait and I'm figuring out a manga story for these characters, as a long-term project.
Hi.Connie Francis is my favorite singer/actress.If you have time check out my tribute to Connie in my journals. It's a 15 part parody of one of Connie's funny movies,''Looking For Love.''In this version Connie is a brunette combination of Brigitte Bardot & Judy Holiday.Connie is very sexy & very accident prone!I kept a lot of the original story & dialogue in.I hope you like it.Let me know what you think. thanks.
Thanks for your comment and for sharing your journal. I'm now keeping you in my watchlist so I can visit your journal anytime, I really appreciate your effort.
Love Connie Francis! walked into a supermarket last week and what should happen to be playing but, "Where the Boys Are"?
Connie's CDs are definitely still available everywhere, wherever you visit a record store, you sure can get one or two, she's forever a very influential legend. the only missing thing is her movie DVD.
great portrait ! I like so much
So beautiful...I'm breathless!
It's good to see you like it. I really appeciate your support! Thanks again!
wow.. you did all the dot's of the bottom!!! they don't look like a screentone, looks handmade!!!
You are kidding,it was really screentone!
wow.. looks like handmade :3
In fact, it was a photocopy of screentone, screentones are very expensive and rare in our local markets, nowadays it seems useless because of advanced computer effect, but I remember in those day when computers were not really existed our local senior mangakas favored the use of photocopy version , kinda cost-saving method, quite.
